“Miss America”…my dear Aunt Helen. Her door and heart were always open. I’ll never forget the hours we spent talking, baking bread, and talking some more. And, oh, the laughs we’d have. I’ll truly miss her. So long, Aunt Helen….

Andy & David and Family,

Aunt Helen will be missed by so many people because she was so special. Any of us kids that got the onry genes, must have gotten them from her. She loved all of us kids, loved playing with us and teasing us, and then loved our kids too. You know how much she meant to Mom, and now they’re together again. I’ll miss coming up to see her and talking to her, even though she hasn’t heard a word I’ve said for years.

I’ll miss you alot Aunt Helen, give my Mom a big hug for me.

Andy and Family,

I am so sorry I could’nt attend the services and give you a “big ole hug”. I have only good things to say about “mama O”.

Remember, I was one of the few girls on the street, so I didn’t get my butt

kicked!!!! Your mom had to have more patience than anyone I can think of with all you “boys” driving her crazy!!!

I will pray for you and your family and remember the blessings and not the losses. We have another angel to watch over us.

Love, Terry Bennington McCabe

Andy Michael & David, I am so sorry to hear about your mother passing. Her life was her kids & grandkids. She will always be with the both of you… Helen was always lots of fun especially when my mother’s brother Eddie was around. She kissed his picture every night until she wore the picture out. Helen had a heart of gold. She was a decent mother & friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Andy, David and Your Families,

I am so sorry for the lost of a Great Mom that you both had.

Mamma O was such a great person who would take the shirt off of her back if you needed it. Her laughter was infectious and her smile was endless. When your Mom would be in the room, it would just light up.

My heart is full for the both of you. I wish that I could take the hurt away for you both at this time. Our families go back along time.

God Bless you and your families,

Your friends,

Butch, Michele and Dane

The loss of my dear friend is unbearable. I am remembering the time she and I rolled 400 grapeleaves for our families for the Mahrajan. We played cards, went shopping and so many other memorable things. She is in heaven w/her beloved family and my mother whom she called “Mama”.

Andy and David you are like my own sons and I’m here for you always. Trust that Our Lord and His Blessed Mother are taking good care of her.

You and your families are in my heart and prayers always. God Bless you.

The time flies by so quickly. The Good Book says that our life is but a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away James 4:14.I am fortunate to still have fond memories of Aunt Helen for all my days.

As I remember, she always had a way of brightening up the room with the light of her personality. If we didn’t watch out she would “sit on us” and then “we’d be sorry!”

She had a BIG heart and had love enough to go around. She truly was a blessing to us all.

Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
