Helen Mae Schramm, 82, formerly of Shepherd Apt.’s, Bellaire, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 in the Barnesville Health Care Center.

She was born June 25, 1925 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lillian Lovejoy Mosso.

Helen was retired from the Spic and Span Cleaners, and was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Bernard “Bernie” Schramm in 2001, a daughter Sharon Youst, a son Bill Youst, and a sister Betty Kinder.

Surviving are 5 children; Paul Youst and his wife Frances of Shadyside, Trudy Jenkins and her husband Chuck of Bellaire, Lee Youst of Bellaire, Steve Hepe and his wife Cindy of Bellaire, John Schramm and his wife Rochelle of Bridgeport, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 24, from 6-8pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441-37th St., Bellaire.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 25, at 10:00am in Rock Hill Cemetery, Bellaire, with Rev. Ray Benesh officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

HELEN WAS A GREAT AND SWEET LADY, I’M BEST FRIENDS WITH HER GRAND DAUGHTER LORY. SORRY I DIDN’T GET TO STOP AND PAY RESPECTS, I HAVE A COUSIN IN BAD SHAPE, SO I’VE HAD ALOT ON MY MIND. MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH THE ENTIRE FAMILY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSE OF A GREAT LADY

I’m sorry to hear about Helen. I didn’t know her well, but she was a nice lady. My grandfather was Raymond Schramm, her brother in law. He used to take me to their house all the time to visit when he was still alive.
