A very special lady in our hearts. Grandma is a very wonderful woman and means a lot to us. She always wanted to watch out for the family. I look forward to seeing Grandma again in Heaven and I know that she is not in pain anymore. I want her back, but I know she is in a better place and one day I see her again. For now I think of the wonderful times and the fond memories of her. Thinking of times @ the creek and how much fun the family had. We Miss you Grandma and we LOVE you greatly! Grandma,

I have so many fond memories of you, but one that always makes me smile is the memory of you vehemently stating that you were not going to consider my pet hamster to be one of your great-grandchildren. You always had such an amazing sense of humor and such a child-like sense of fun and wonder. I loved that about you so much. I don’t have the words to express just how much you will be missed. John and I love you.

Grandma, I love you so much, you know Mom is greatly going to miss you as she spent most of her time with you, but she wanted to make sure you were ok. I will greatly miss you asking me to fix your hair, so I can tell you that your hair is very pretty how it is. I do know that everyone up in Heaven was really happy to see you and I know they were rejoicing when you went home. We love you Granny Good Witch and will miss you everyday…Robin, Greg, Trey, Jordan, and Gabriella

I hope you know that I always thought of you and never forgot the great memories as a kid at your house. Even though you had a lot of grandkids we all knew without a doubt each and every one of us was special and loved. Thank yoou for being my grandma. I will miss you more than you know. Looking back over the years, there aren’t many memories fonder than those weekends out at the creek growing up. Your joy, your wit, your love, it will never be forgotten and has forever left an impression in our hearts, minds, and souls. We miss you greatly, but we know you are in a better place now, and we will see you again one day. Love always,

MOM, I Miss You more and more with each passing day. Christmas was hard, but I know your Birthday this Thursday will even be harder. I Miss our phone calls, and coming to see you, but I know you are with Dad and all your other Loved ones, and my Brian and Kelly. So we have to be strong and go on for you, for I know that is what you would want, so know that you are Missed and Loved more and more with each passing day and tell Dad and All We Love Them and we’ll all have a Reunion again someday. I know the ache in our hearts will ease with time, but our memories of you will live forever in our hearts. I watched the Notebook last night and kept thinking of how we would watch that movie over and over again, and how you loved that movie and could quote the words even before they were said. I miss all the good times we had doing so much together and going to the casino, sitting there playing the slots, taking turns, and sometimes taking each others turns. Hitting our hands gently if we took a turn out of place. We sure had a lot of fun. I MISS MY BEST FRIEND, MY MOTHER.

Mrs. Fortney was an AWESOME lady! I truly enjoyed the time I spent in WVA with Debbie & Robert Bobbie, sitting on her porch swing talking about the days when Debbie was growing up, the grandchildren and her husband! I am blessed to have known her and even more blessed to know that she will be the first from our two families to see my baby girl, Abigail Faith in heaven! They are celebrating together along with her other grandchildren who are now watching over us and waiting for our time to join them!

You are in my prayers & God Bless
