OSOSKI, Helen Julia Bruno, 91, of St. Paul’s Terrace, Wheeling, W.Va., died Monday, September 23, 2013 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born January 16, 1922, in Wheeling, a daughter to the late Anthony P. and Mary Szverina Bruno.

She was Catholic and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elm Grove, W.Va. and a former member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Ososki in 1981, a brother, Edward Bruno, and a sister, Mildred Miller.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Ososki and his wife Rita of Elm Grove, Kenneth J. Ososki and his wife Jeanette of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Jean Marie Hand of Wheeling; one grandson, Troy M. Hand and his wife Emily of Billings, Mont.; one granddaughter, Julie Lalama and her husband Danny of Monaca, Pa.; one step grandson, Thomas “Tommy” McDonald of Charleston, S.C.; and two great grandchildren, Adalyn and Briggs Hand of Billings, Mont.

There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Memorial contributions can be made to Faith in Action Caregivers, 1359 National Road, Wheeling, W.Va. 26003, and to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 2111 Market Street, Wheeling, W.Va. 26003.

I feel your grief of Aunt Helen.Prayers go out to all of you. As my son Michael and I are Grieving for my daughter Kara.We lost her thur 9 26 of a accident she would had been 22 in dec. I loved coming to your house with grandma Ososki.Aunt helen hopefully had a great 91 years. As Kara did make most of her short 21 years. Our prayers and love to all of you. Love karen and Michael
