Helen E. Snider

Helen E. Snider, 84 of East Liverpool, OH passed away at Calcutta Health Care on Sunday, February 22, 2015 following a brief illness.
She was born in East Liverpool on April 4, 1930 a daughter to the late Danne Walton and Leona Douglas Reasoner. She lived most of her life in this area working as a paper stuffer for the East Liverpool Review before she retired in 1993. She enjoyed being with her animals and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by five sons: Arthur Brown of East Liverpool, OH, Bill and Paul Snider of Wellsville, OH Thomas Snider of East Liverpool, OH and Donald Walton; four daughters: Peggy Gorby, Joyce Wright and Joy Lynn Miller all of East Liverpool, OH and Kathy Valentine of Wellsville, OH; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joy Snider whom she married in November of 1962 and two sisters.
Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 4 PM with Rev. Ernest Peachey of Second Baptist Church in East Liverpool officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Funeral Home in East Liverpool on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 1 – 4 PM.
The family would like to thank those in her Dialysis family for their care, friendship and support over the last 14 years of her treatment.
