Tridigo, Hazel J. Roberts, 87, of Benwood, WV, died Monday, July 30, 2012 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born March 16, 1925 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Matilda Helmbright Roberts.
Hazel was a homemaker and a Lutheran by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sameul G. Tridigo; a daughter, Debra Bosold Alderman; a sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Roberts; a brother, William “Bill” Roberts; a close friend, Dolores Myers.
Surviving are two sons, Robert G. Wendy Tridigo and Michael L. Darla Tridigo, both of Wheeling; a daughter, Sandra K. John Glenz of Wheeling; a sister, Kathryn “Kitty” Bosold of Bellaire, OH; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Hazel loved her family and had many friends. She had a generous heart, donating to many charities. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to old-time music and reading the Bible.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 3, 2012.
Interment in McMechen Cemetery.
