STADLER, Harry Wallace, 67, of Wheeling, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Carlisle W. and Eugenia Katherine Maillard Stadler.
He was retired from the City of Wheeling Department of Development. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; a graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School; and attended West Virginia University. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David C. and Robert Stadler.
Surviving are his wife, Judy E. Brooks Stadler; three sons, London C. Stadler, Eric Stadler and Christopher Matthew Stadler, all of Wheeling; and their mother, Susan L. Stadler of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Lennon M. Stadler, Sebastian A. Stadler and Christopher Michael Stadler, all of Wheeling.
Friends will be received 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. James LaCrosse, S.M. as celebrant. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
