To Harrietts Family

I did not have the pleasure of meeting all of you, only her sister here in Virginia Beach. I work at the Russell House and knew Harriett when she lived there. She was a wonderful person and loved by all the residents there. She was the President of the Residents Association for a term before I came there and heard many wonderful events she arranged and was involved with there.

Harriett and I also had the same doctor until he resigned and she was very upset about that. I felt she went downhill after that because he was wonderful and understanding and it was difficult for her to adjust to someone new. I have the same problem replacing him after all these years. She was a very private person and I relate to that. It was very sad to see her in a Nursing Home, she was so independant and walked everywhere. I hope she is in a better place right now. She is in my prayers.

My sincere sympathy to all of you.
