Harold L. Cline, 83, of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, died Monday December 3, 2007 at Sienna Point Nursing Home.
He was born January 13, 1924 at Maynard, Ohio, a son of the late John and Elfra Sloan Cline.
Harold was a retired heavy equipment operator for R&F Coal Company.
He was a WWII 17th Airborne member and a veteran of the “Battle of the Bulge”.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, the Pine Valley Sportsman Club, and VFW Post #8848 of Colerain.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by two brothers; John and Lemoyne Cline, and two sisters; Elizabeth “Libby” Henderson.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Elinor Swingle Cline, two daughters; Ruth Henderson of California and Mrs. Dan Nancy Cline Krajnyak of Florida, a son, Roger L. Leiann Cline, Pleasant Grove, two brothers; Earl Cline, Florida, and Chester Agnes Cline , St. Clairsville, a sister; Eileen Cline Tapper, St. Clairsville, and two grandchildren; Jason Krajnyak and Danielle Cline.
Friends will be received from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Bohyun Yu officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pleasant Grove.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colerain Fire Department or the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

I am so sorry I couldn’t be there. I just wanted to let you know I will miss him.I will miss seeing him when I goto work.I always went to check on him when I got there.I send this with my deepest sympathies.
