HAMPTON – Harold E. Hinkle Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008.
He was retired from the Norfolk Shipyard as a machinist. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Harold is survived by his beloved wife of over 46 years, June Hinkle; daughter, Melinda H. Ingram; brother, Mark Hinkle; sisters, Mary Jane Gates and Pat Peters; granddaughter, Kayla H. Kimble and her husband, Greg; great-grandchildren, Julia Grace Super and Leanna Kimble; his companions, Gracie and Maggie.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Riverside-Altmeyer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Riverside Baptist Church by Pastor Tommy Davidson. Interment will be private.
