Glen E. Starkey, 71, of Water Street, Benwood died April 23, 2002 at home. He was a retired employee of the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company; a Methodist and a US Marine veteran; a member of the American Legion, Post # 46, Benwood. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters. Survivng are his wife, Martha Skvarka Starkey; 4 sons, AlanLori Starkey, Russell and Jerome Starkey and Rocky Muldrew; 2 daughters, Mrs. DougKimberly Pelley and Renee Clayton; 2 sisters, Hazel Britton and Mrs. HowardBetty Shackelford; 11 grandchildren. There will be no visition. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 300A Scott Ave, Morgantown, WV 26505.
