OBITUARY NOTICE

Gladys V. Digman
Age 96

Gladys V. Digman, 96, formerly of Moore Street, East Liverpool, OH passed away at the Hospice House in Boardman, OH following a brief illness.

She was born in Richwood, West Virginia on March 2, 1912, a daughter of the late John A. & Virdie S. Bayless Johnson. Living in the area since 1942, Mrs. Digman was a wife, mother and grandmother. She belonged to the First Nazarene Church in East Liverpool.

Her husband, Willard P. Digman, whom she married December 25, 1928, died February 24, 1971. She is survived by two sons, Robert Digman of Wellsville, OH and Steven Digman of Boardman, OH; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Betty L. Reed of Columbiana, OH and Mrs. Tom Irene Boberg of Memphis, TN; a brother, Andrew “Pete” Johnson of Parkersburg, WV; two sisters, Mrs. Paris Louise Linkous of Wellsville, OH and Mrs. Bennie Daisey Adkins of East Liverpool, OH and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, three sons, Ronald Digman, David Digman and Willard Digman, two daughters, Mrs. Frank Jean Dominic and Alice Digman, four brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Services will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Church in Williamstown, WV on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Edward Lowe of the church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Burnt Hill Cemetery in Williamstown, WV.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 2 – 4 and
6 – 8 PM.

Several of the former classmates told me of your Mother’s passing. It has to be a bitter sweet time for all of you–am sure she left some happy memories for the entire family. Sincerely Pat
