GERALDINE MARIE “JERRY” EARLEY, 76, of Bellaire, OH, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in the Belmont Community Hospital.
She was born December 26, 1931 in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Wheeler Lashley.
Jerry was a homemaker, a member of the South Bellaire Methodist Church, the Bellaire American Legion Auxiliary Past President and the Over 50 Club of Shadyside.
In addition to her parents, Jerry was preceded in death by her husband Charles Earley on March 16, 1998.
Surviving is her son Claude D. “Skip” Earley and his wife Susan “Susie” of Bellaire, 3 step grandchildren Holly Merrill of Cadiz, Andy Flowers of Gnadenhutten, OH, and Heidi McGrew of Bellaire, and 7 step great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 22, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441-37th St., Bellaire, where services will be held on Thursday at 1:00pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating.
Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
American Legion Auxiliary services will be conducted on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, St. Clairsville, OH.
