Geraldine Lee ”Jerrie” Thomas, 70, of Benwood Hill Road, Benwood, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Stephen and Alvirda King Breiding.
She was a homemaker; a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Boggs Run, Benwood; and also a member of the McMechen Womans Club.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Thomas; two sons, Steve Thomas and his wife, Monti of Benwood and Terry Thomas and his wife, Brenda of Sherrard; two brothers, Thomas Breiding and his wife, Mary and Greg Breiding, both of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Steve Thomas and his wife, Erin of Wheeling, and Whitney Thomas and Kenny Thomas, both of Sherrard; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Thomas of Wheeling.
There will be no visitation. Services were held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. David Twedt officiating.
