Carole, I’m really not great at writing but even though Gerry and I weren’t close, I remembered looking up to him when I was a kid. I’d hear the great things he did and was and brag about him. The few times we did talk it was like listening to Indiana Jones! He loved his family too. One time he told me about some of his experiences in Ireland and made me want to take the next flight over there! My only regret is not having gotten to know him better. He was a real great guy. Take care.

I will never forget my intelligent cousin. His strength holding me as a small child and calling me little one, when I became too excited during family get togethers. As he said again when he came to Massachusetts in 1996 to attend a family anniversary of our Aunt Jewel and Uncle John Santangelo. He hugged me as a grownup again saying “Hey Little One!”. We talked about the college I was attending and he listened to me say how hard it was while raising kids and working at the sametime. I love him and will surely miss my wonderful cousin…CRC
