George W. Hinton, 73 of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.
He was born August 16, 1940 in Martins Ferry, Ohio the son of the late John and Florence Randall Hinton.
George attended the Tree of Life Church in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was a member of the UAW local 1077. He was a retired press operator for the International Harvester Company. George was raised in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1958.
In addition to his parents George was preceded in death by his brother John E. Hinton and brothers-in-law, Floyd White and Matthew Scales.
George is survived by his wife Judy, whom he married on August 9, 1965 and his seven children Carma, George Jr, Bryan, Jason, Corey, Amber and Melanie. Also twelve grandchildren, Cyrano, Cameron, Asia Nicole, Nathan, India, Mya, Jonathan, Joshua, Brayden, Selah, Kaeleonna and Jace and one great-granddaughter, Sy’Raya, three sisters, Dr. May Bill Wykle Pearl White and Melanie E. Larry Goodman as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 29 from 2 to 8 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio. Services will be held Saturday, November 30 at 1 pm with Rev. James M. Agnew III at the Tree of Life Church 801 Virginia Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

I can remember Mr.George calling me little. Edith,because he said I was like my. Mother I Only hope he is right.When you look in a mirror know that he is looking back at you and smiling.
I remember George as a good man who took care of his family. Sad to hear of his passing.
