George W. ”Bill” Hartley, Jr.

George W. ”Bill” Hartley, Jr., 86, of McMechen, WV died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was a retired employee of the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., former Benwood plant and a member of the McMechen-Benwood United Methodist Church, McMechen. Surviving are his wife, Irene Baum Hartley, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Evelyn L. Komorowski and Mrs. David Elizabeth A. Quinlin; four grandchildren, Andrew Komorowski, Holly Scicchitano, Ryan and Patrick Quinlin. Friends recieved Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home,214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment in Washington Cemetery, Washington, Pa.
