George Paul Dorfner

DORFNER, George Paul, 89 of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007.
He was born August 1, 1918 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William and Mary Dorfner.
He was a former employee of the Creative Label Co., an Army veteran of WWII and a member of the 2-Bit Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Alberta Elizabeth Schroepfer Dorfner in 1999, one brother, William Dorfner, three sisters, Mildred Daugherty, Ruth Fair and Ann Adler.
Surviving is two sons, Gregg Dorfner and his wife Pattie of Wheeling; David Dorfner and his wife Connie of Charleston, WV; two grandsons, Joshua and Eric Dorfner.
Friends received 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Boron Funeral Home, 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Basil Catholic Church, Pittsburgh.
