Aunt Faye and Georgie and family, So sorry to hear about Uncle George. He was such a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Having a War Hero as an Uncle was a great honor, not to mention what a great person he was to everyone he came to know. I hope your sorrow passes quickly and nothing but wonderful memories of Uncle George are all that you think about. My Mom, Helen Kutrovac Redd, thought the world of him. Love, Chuck
Dear Aunt Faye, George and family,
I am sorry to hear of your our loss. I love Uncle George dearly and will miss him. I don’t think there is anyone who was prouder of his son and family than Uncle George! He was a bundle of charisma and energy for as far back as I can remember.
I pray that God will comfort you during this time. I know that the memories of Uncle George will turn from pain to comfort and strength. He truly left a legacy of love. And that is all of you.
I wish I could be there to offer my love, hugs and support.
I love you!
Brenda, Brian and Sarah
Dear Faye and family,
We were so sorry to hear of George’s passing. We always remembered him as such a kind person. We remember starting our married life living next door to you George and Georgie. Nice memories. God bless you all and help you during this sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Faye and George,
I’m so sorry to hear of George’s passing. He was one of the Greatest Generations best. I will always remember all those stories my Uncle Eddie told of the good old days at the Zip Inn and growing up in Boggs Run. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Johnny Mazelon
Dear Faye, George and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. George was a dear friend to our family. I still remember him telling stories at “Mitch’s” while drinking pop with all his Benwood buddies, including my dad, Pat Biega. George was also very good to Mark when he embarked on running for Magistrate, always giving words of encouragement.
God Bless you
Mark and Chris Biega Kerwood
Fay: So very sorry for the loss of George. I knew him since I was a little girl. He always made me laugh. He will be missed. No one but him ever called me Jackson.

Faye and George-
As a child growing up visiting my Grandmother in Boggs Run, I can always remember the friendliness and great story telling of George. He and Dad were always exchanging stories about the good old days and taught us what it meant to be proud of where your family came from. May memories comfort you and your family in the days ahead.
Faye and George, I want to express my sincere sympathy for your loss. Like many others, I enjoyed Georges’ great sense of humor and respected his standing in the community. My best memory is first being in his company in 1960 during a John F. Kennedy rally at St.John’s gymnasium in Benwood. FDR’s son Jim was the main speaker. I was a mere 17 years of age, by far the youngest and most excited in the room and he went far out of his way to make me feel more welcome than the hundreds of others in attendance, who at the time couldn’t understand what a young “Greek” boy was doing there.
Faye Faye, Kut & Lyn
