Genevieve D. Raymond

RAYMOND, Genevieve D. Petrone, 83, of Benwood, WV, died Friday, September 26, 2008 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 7, 1925 in Boydsville, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Williams Petrone.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Benwood.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jo Layte.
Surviving is her husband, Frank A. Raymond, two sisters, Shirley Blazier Howard of Wheeling, WV; Helen Weekly George of McMechen, WV; several nieces and nephews including, Tammy Linaweaver Steve, Lisa Bauer Jim, Sandy Hill Jess, Mark Blazier, Brian Blazier Jessica and Jim Weekly, four great nephews, Brandon and Anthony Bauer, Jay Cramer, Erik Blazier.
Friends received 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in St. John Catholic Church, Benwood, with Rev. Joseph Hayden as celebrant.
Interment in McMechen Cemetery, McMechen.
