Gary L. Gilbert

GILBERT, Gary L., 46, of Ohio Street, Moundsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, at his residence. He was a Protestant by faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence J. Gilbert; his paternal grandfather, Starling Gilbert; paternal grandmother, Thelma Gilbert Strahl; and maternal grand-parents, Frank and Albany Scherrer. Surviving are his mother, Della Scherrer Gilbert of Moundsville; sister, Mrs. Judy Paith and her husband, Raymond of Moundsville; two uncles, Paul Gilbert of Florida and Edward Gilbert of Senacavile, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001 at the Altmeyer, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. with the Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard at the convenience of the family.
