FREMONT DAVIS, 81, of Bellaire, formerly of Shadyside, OH, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in the Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital and Geriatric Center, Wheeling.
He was born October 13, 1927 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Myers and Maude Stewart Davis.
Fremont was an auditor with the Federal Government, was a Protestant by faith, a member of the Shadyside American Legion Post 521 and an Army veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, Fremont was preceded in death by a son, Ron Paul Davis, 5 sisters; Cleota Manners, Mazie Stone, Anita Mahaffee, Madolyn Ripley, and Lottie Rose Davis, and a brother, Myers Davis.
Surviving is a daughter, Sheryl Thume of MD, a sister, Lee Kinniburgh of Wheeling, a brother in law Clyde Mahaffee of Shadyside and several nieces and nephews.
In accord with Fremont’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 521.
