Fred T. Putinsky, 83 of Shadyside, Ohio died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Webb, Ohio on June 5, 1929 a son of the late Fred and Ann Lucas Putinsky.
Fred was a retired employee of the Ohio Power Company
And a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Putinsky and one sister, Frances Valloric.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Valloric Putinsky, four children, Christine Douglas Buntley of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Linda Larry Anderson of Moundsville, West Virginia, Regina Wayne Seivertson of Bellaire, Ohio and Thomas Kay Putinsky of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and one brother, Thomas Putinsky of Westerville, Ohio. Also seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at the St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Samuel R. Soprano, the Celebrant. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Vigil services will be held on Thuesday at 7:45 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Hospice, Inc. 10686 State Route 150 Rayland, Ohio 43943.
