TUSKEY, Frank “Ken”, 82, of Glen Dale WV, died of natural causes on Friday, November 07, 2008.Ken was born September 12, 1926 in Wheeling WV, a son of the late Frank J. and Margerate “Pearl” Tuskey. He was retired from Allied Chemical Company, and served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Blake Bros. Post 46 Benwood WV and the VFW Post 3655. An avid bowler, he won many trophies throughout the years. Among other favorite activities were playing cards with his friends and trips to the casino. He enjoyed eating various sweets and was also known for eating his “baked bean” sandwiches.
Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores “Eileen” Jablonski Tuskey in 2006.
Surviving relatives include, two sons, Robert K. Tuskey and his wife Shelley of Glen Dale WV and Douglas E. Tuskey of Glen Dale WV; one daughter, Deborah L. Gibson of Glen Dale WV; two grandchildren, Natalie Ann Perry and her husband Curtis of Sherrard WV and Ashley Tuskey of Morgantown WV; a great grandson, Issac Perry; a sister in law, Mary Ann Hedges of Wheeling WV and her children, Tiffany Buch and Bradley Hedges; a aunt by marriage, Kay Rogus of Glen Dale WV; a niece, Linda Reinhardt of McMechen WV; and a nephew, Jim Studdard of St. Clairsville OH.
Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Ave Moundsville WV on Monday, November 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm at the Chapel of Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling. A luncheon will be held at St Matthews Lutheran Church, Boggs Run, Benwood WV immediately following the committal prayers at the cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 13, Glen Dale WV 26038.
