FRANCES G. BERMAN
VIRGINIA BEACH- Frances G. Berman, 87, passed away on February 4, 2005. She was born and raised in the Berkley section of Norfolk.
She was a former member of Temple Israel and The Sisterhood and other volunteer organizations in Norfolk. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Berman; three brothers and three sisters and their spouses.
Mrs. Berman is survived by three children, Morris Louis Berman of Norfolk, Cheryl Berman Weisel of Boyds, Maryland and Edwin Charles Berman of Norfolk; granddaughter, Alyson Michelle Weisel of Huntington Beach. California; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Donations may be made to the Beth Sholom Home 6401 Auburn Drive, Virginia Beach 23464. Special thanks to the many caregivers at Beth Sholom Home for all the devotion and loving care that they provided to Frances.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 7, 2005 in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Cantor Elihu Flax officiating.

Remember the beauty and joy she brought to the world, and envy the heavens who now share her love. Aly, may your family find peace in her memory. Dear Nickie, Eddie, Morris and Aly,
I was so saddened when I heard the news of your Mom’s passing. I have such special memories of coming to your house and seeing and hearing your Mom. She had such a personality~!I was always treated as one of her kids.
There will never be another like her. And I know she loved you all so much!!
I will cherish the memories of Frances in her home on Forsythe St. and her traveling around in her little Chevy.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We hope the memories of happy times will comfort you.

I can still remember Aunt Frances always having a cold bottle of coke for me,you know the ones in the small green bottles, when ever Mom would take us by to see her and MY Uncle Joe. I loved them both,and have wonderful memories of them, now they are both with my Mom.
