Frances Benedetto Rizzi

Frances Benedetto Rizzi, 86, of Wheeling, died Friday February 13, 2004 in Crestview Health Care Center, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born in Wheeling on May 8, 1917, the daughter of the late Tony and Lillian Proetti Benedetto.
She was a former employee of Hazel Atlas Glass Co. and a memeber of St. Michael Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Rizzi in December of 2001; an infant son; a sister, Philomena Hoskins.
Frances is survived by a brother Bartholomew "Buddy" Benedetto; nephews, Anthony Benedetto and his wife Nancy, Larry Hoskins and his wife Patti, Mark Hoskins and his wife Cindy; sisters-in-law: Elda Barcalow, Jean Pollock; nieces and nephews, Roy and Patty Malinowski, George and Civita Sovillard, Ed and Dolores Gorence, Ray and Norma Mascolino, Art and Marie Rizzi, Gloria Barcalow, Louis and Beverly Amadio, Don and Kathy Haggerty, Ernie and Robin Pollock, Dave and Pam Mroczkowski, Michael Pollock, Tom Pollock, Jeff and Mary Doty.
Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove Chapel, Wheeling, WV with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling.
