Floyd Heddleston
Age: 84

Floyd Heddleston, 84, of Purinton Drive, East Liverpool, OH died on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at east liverpool CIty Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Chester, WV on September 30, 1919 to the late Edward and Sarah A. McGlaughlin Heddleston.

Mr. Heddleston resided most of his life in the East Liverpool area, working as a millwright at the former Crucible Steel for 40 years. He was a Navy veteran serving during WWII, being a member of the Fredericktown Christian Church, he was Deacon Emmeritus as well as a member of the VFW Post 66.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise McGuire Heddleston whom he married June 26, 1942.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Joe Thomas of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
