Florence A. Tomlinson, 86, od St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Forest Hills Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.
She was born Januray 10, 1920 at Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Hoskinson Cross.
She was a former secretary at the Belmont County Court House and a 4H advisor. She was a Methodist by faith.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Tomlinson in 1994; a son, Ronnie Tomlinson; a brother, Virgil Cross; and two sisters, Helen Sparkman and Betty Ferguson.
Surviving are two sons, Dean and his wife Donna Tomlinson, St. Clairsville, Ohio, Roger Tomlinson, Flushing, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Lee Mitchell, Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Kenneth and his wife Ann Cross, St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Harold and his wife Wilma Cross, Bethesda, Ohio; three sisters, Dolly and her husband Clive Price, Harrisville, Ohio, Mary and her husband Wayne Price, New Athens, Ohio and Bernadine and her husbnad Joe Satterfield of Bowerston, Ohio, four grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Thursday, at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm. Burial follows in Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
