Flora Mae Stanley
Age 65

Flora Mae Stanley, 65, of St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio died Monday, April 21, 2003 at the Caprice Health Care Center in North Lima following a lengthy illness.

She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on November 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Frank and Flora Calvert Johnson.

Living her entire life in the area, Mrs. Stanley had held various positions at the Moose Lodge, Potters Club, W.C. Bunting, Elite Diner and the former Lantern Lounge. She was involved with the Women of the Moose and the American Red Cross.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Stanley and his wife Martha and Scott Stanley and his wife Angela, both of East Liverpool, Ohio; a daughter, Brenda Hunter of Newark, Ohio; a brother, Harry T. Johnson, Sr. of Salineville, OH; two sisters, Lenora Fulmer of East Liverpool, Ohio and Betty Bishop of Portland, Ohio; the father of her children, Richard Stanley, Sr.; her companion of 19 years, Nicholas Zoellers; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Ann Stanley, a brother, Frank "Buster" Johnson, a sister, Margaret Fulmer and a great-grandchild.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gordon Hall of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Burial will follow in United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where there will be a Moose Service at 7:30 PM.

i miss you grandma everyday..you have two beautiful grandsons they are 2 and 6..i graduated like you always wanted me too and i have done everything in my life to make you proud….i love you and miss you everyday you are gone but i know i will see you again and i know you are watching over me …
