Fannie Lee Foster
Age; 86

Fannie Lee Foster, 86, formerly of 14th St. Wellsville, Ohio, died Friday,
January 30, 2004 at the East Liverpool Convalescent Center #1 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Monroe, Va. February 2, 1917 to the late John and Mary Campbell Franklin. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1937 and moved to New York City, where she lived and worked for 40 years, She worked for the State of New York as a secretary in the Income Tax Dept. After her retirement she moved back to the Tristate area where she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsville.

Mrs Foster is survived by 3 sisters; Lottie Franklin, Mary Arrington and Luenell Jackson all of Wellsville.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by 2 sisters; Amanda Carter and Elsie Spann, 4 brothers; Joseph Franklin, Charlie Franklin, Richard Franklin and James Franklin.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wellsville on Tuesday February 3, 2004 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roosevelt Thompson, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville.

Family will be present to receive friends at the First Baptist Church, Monday, February 2, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altermeyer Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
