Dear Gene,

Your enthusiasm for life was an inspiration to all who came into contact with you. I cherish the times when you came to visit. You always reminded me so much of our Daddy. I will never forget you and your beautiful smile. We can take comfort in knowing that we will see you again.

Dear Gene:

You will always be remembered as the wonderful man who so elegantly left everyone that you met with a smile on their face. You had a way about you of always making everyone feel “special” when you spoke with them. You have inspired all of us to attempt to bring others happiness and joy like you did for so many. You will always be in our hearts, and we will always be listening to your gentle reminder, to do the very best in life that we can. Thank you Gene for being such an inspiration to all of us, and we will always hold dear to our hearts your outstanding quality of always making us feel important to you. We will meet again in heaven, and we know that you will be there with your welcoming arms, and you will never be forgotten. Love, Wilbur, Shirley, Tina and Jay

Dear Sally,

I did not know your father, only his reflection through you which is an afterglow of honesty, truth and committment. I have heard that death is not darkness, it is the putting out of the lantern because dawn has come. As a child of God,I do believe this. I hope you will rejoice with thoughts of meeting him again.

In Christ, Annie

I worked for Amana refrigeration in Burlingame as a young man in 1979 I was hired by Gene to work for the company. He was always such a nice and easy going gentleman. I remember how he would always include the staff as a family. He had the ability to make our work enviroment a fun place to be.

I am proud that I had the chance to meet and know you Gene.

Your work here is done. God bless you.
