Turner, Zavodsky Ethel, 99, formerly of Bellaire, OH, passed away November 5, 2011 at the Shadyside Care Center.

Ethel was born February 8, 1912 in Blue Bell, Southern Guernsey County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Stefan and Anna Vlacek Zavodsky.

In 1928 Ethel married Joseph Turner in Byesville, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1978. Ethel was a devoted wife, much-loved mother, grandmother and homemaker.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband and parents, was a daughter Florence Ollom on May 3, 2003, infant twin Sons in 1928 and two brothers John and Michael Zavodsky.

Surviving are 5 children, Robert Mary Turner and Pearl Turner, both of Shadyside, OH, Sylvia McGuire of Powhatan Point, OH, Dick Jean Turner of Beallsville, OH, and Gloria Jean Turner of Panama City Beach, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren; her sister Mary Holliday of Cambridge, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Arrangements are by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio.

Memorial contributions to Shadyside Care Center.
