Ethel Fryman
Age 88
Ethel Fryman, 88, of Vernon Street in the Dixonville area of East Liverpool, OH, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, Pa following a brief illness.
She was born in East Liverpool, Oh on December 10, 1914 and was the daughter of the late James and Lydia Spellman Koerber McDivitt. Mrs. Fryman was employed at many area motels, last working as a cook at the former Waterford Race Track, before rertiring in 1982. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
He husband, Charles Fryman, whom she married in 1947, died in 1970.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeannette Slosser of St. Petersburg, FL and Mrs. William Nancy Tice of Hammondsville, OH; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Brooks and Jessie McGaffic.
Memorial services will be held at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 533 Virginia Street, East Liverpool, OH on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 1:30 PM.
The family will be present one hour prior to the service to receive friends.
The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
