Esther Eileen Vallelonga, 85, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Friday, April 18, 2008 in Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, Ohio.

Eileen was born January 16, 1923 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Sailer Richardson.

She was a member of the Powhatan First Presbyterian Church where she served as Deacon; She was a member of the Powhatan Cemetery Association Board, Order of Eastern Star # 489 Captina Chapter, VFW Post 5565 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 228 Auxiliary both of Powhatan Point.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Tony Vallelonga on December 21, 2003, a daughter Carmella B. Vallelonga on November 18, 2005, a brother Roy Richardson and a sister Pauline Stottlemeyer.

Surviving are a son Richard Vallelonga and his wife Lena of Powhatan Point, a grandson James Vallelonga and his wife Teresa of Powhatan Point, Many loved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Monday 2-4p.m.& 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, Ohio where services will be held 11a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Alice Phillips officiating.

Interment in Powhatan Cemetery Powhatan Point, Ohio.

Eastern Services, 7p.m. Monday, followed by the VFW and American Legion

Auxiliary Services 7:30p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to, Order of the Eastern Star, Powhatan First Presbyterian Church or the Powhatan Cemetery Association.
