Alice and all,

I am sorry I was unable to attend the funeral services. I wanted to send my condolences and let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember Pete for his continual kindness. I will always remember how he would great me every Sunday, starting when I was very young, and ask me how I was doing. I always felt that it was more than just a conversation starter, he actually cared. I weill remember the his concern and attention he showed me after I had my surgery. I will remember him teaching me in Sunday school. I will remember him talking to me about the Shipyard and encouraging me through my employment decisions. I will remember the determination he showed by fighting through the numerous medical issues he had over the years.

I believe that Pete touched many lives throughout his life. I believe that he also touched many hearts. I believe that he also touched many souls through the Holy Spirit.

I pray that you and other family members can find comfort in this time of sorrow. Be confident that he is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Cordner and family

Julie, Dan, Becca and I were saddened to learn of Pete’s passing. We will always remember your trip to our home in Minnesota – and still think of both of you every time we work on our front flower garden with the large rock or ‘Schultz Rock’, as we call it.

Pete was such a wonderful person and we are are honored to have known him. His grace, pleasant disposition, and witty humor were but a few of his best qualities.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
