Jean was the epitome of the word “Mom”. Always cheerful, welcoming and loving. She was a

fabulous cook and patiently willing

to teach those of us less talented!

I still get compliments on her barbecue recipe that I gratefully

was given by her.

The quality of her character will

be forever evident in her love and

support of her grand children. The

way she continued to love and welcome Joe and his second wife Connie, was an inspiration to all.

Everyone can only hope to have a marriage like Jean and Ed’s. Our hearts are with Ed in his sorrow.

We still miss Jeannie every day and

know that now her beloved Mom is with her now.

Mrs McNew always had a kind word and a pleasant smile for me as I passed the house, regardless of how she was feeling. My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends who will miss her sorely.

Writing from the American Red Cross. How fortunate we were to have had such a bright star in our lives over the years. Jean’s smile, hugs and phenomenal work will never be forgotten. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
