To the Shelek Family, The Hennen Family is deeply saddened by the passing of your mother. We have fond memories of her from her time working at the Wheeling Newspapers with our father Doc Hennen for almost 30 years. He held her in the highest regard and found her contributions to the advertizing department invaluable. Having worked in this department for two summers, I noticed immediately that your mom was the “GO TO” person in the office. She had more than a running knowledge of everyone and everything, and a deep understanding of the business, all of which allowed the department to function like a well oiled machine. And in business, there is no one more appreciated than that person who has the knack for keeping the office well organized and managed. After my father died, I continued to stop by the office when in town just to see your mom and get the latest scoop. Things at the newspaper have changed a lot over the years and I’m sure Ercella was ready to retire. Your mom was genuinely warm and wonderful and enjoyed people. I/We will miss her. The Hennens
