Dearest Joe and Family:

We were saddend to hear of the loss of Genie. We shall always remember “Special Times” we shared with you both. God apparently needed another “Special Angel”. We will all miss her.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family always.

Denny – I will always remember the wonderful dinner we shared with your mother in Long Boat Key. Your mom and I always joked about the “sweatbreads” – and how we were the only two people at the table who would eat them! Enjoy the memories – she was truly a wonderful person.

Gene was the “connection” for Tom and I to move back to Wheeling 20 years ago. She was a TRUE LADY with a BIG HEART. I think of her everyday as I look at the pretty little clock she gave us as a party favor. And she had some great parties with her special touch!!! She will be sorely missed by many friends and family.

Our deepest sympathy to ALL of her extended family.

HERE IS A POEM THAT KAREN AND I FOUND FOR YOU

Ií M FREE

DONíT GREIVE FOR ME, FOR NOW IíM FREE.

IíM FOLLOWING THE PATH GOD LAID FOR ME.

I TOOK GODíS HAND WHEN I HEARD THE CALL;

I TURNED MY BACK AND LEFT IT ALL.

I COULD NOT STAY ANOTHER DAY

TO LAUGH, TO LOVE, TO WORK OR PLAY.

TASKS LEFT UNDONE MUST STAY THAT WAY,

I FOUND THAT PLACE AT THE CLOSE OF DAY.

IF MY PARTING HAS LEFT A VOID,

THEN FILL IT WITH REMEMBERED JOY.

A FRIENDSHIP SHARED, A LAUGH, A KISS.

AH YES, THESE THINGS, I TOO , WILL MISS.

BE NOT BURDENED WITH TIMES OF SORROW,

I WISH YOU SUNSHINE OF TOMARROW.

MY LIFEíS BEEN FULL, I SAVORED MUCH,

GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD TIMES, A LOVED ONEíS TOUCH

PERHAPS MY TIME SEEMED ALL TOO BRIEF;

DONíT LENGHTEN IT NOW WITH UNDUE GRIEF.

LIFT UP YOUR HEART AND SHARE WITH ME-

GOD WANTED ME NOW, GOD SET ME FREE.

Iím Free

Donít grieve for me, for now Iím free,

Iím following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call,

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

to laugh, to love, to work or play;

Tasks left undone must stay that way.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Ah yes, these things too I will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My lifeís been full, Iíve savored much.

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Donít lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and share with me,

Iím with God now, Iíve been set free

To the family of Jeannie.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We were very fortunate and thankful to have spent time Christmas eve with her. She talked of the white dove.

What a beautiful christian woman. May she rest in peace, may the love of God grant peace to all of you.

In his perfect Love,

Margaret and Don Schmidt
