Aunt Eloise has always been a wonderful loving person to all who knew her. We all love her so much and we have been so upset about her illness. I know it has been so hard for all her children to see her in a condition that she didn’t even know who you were. I am happy that she is in a better place and spending time with those she loves. Aunt Eloise I will never forget you. You were a very special Aunt to me. We love you,

Linda

Dear Stokes Children and families:

My heart grieves with you, and has for some time now. Eloise’s illness has hurt me since I first noticed changes in the wonderful person I have known and loved for so long. You sadly have lost a mother and I have lost a dear friend/neighbor/buddy of half a century. Please remember that she and your dad will always have a special place in my heart – as will all of you.

My endearing love and heartfelt sympathies.
