Ellsworth William “Bud” Ruckman, 77 of Bellaire, Ohio died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Vibra Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.
He was born October 27, 1937 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Frank and Minnie Burghy Ruckman.
He was a retired truck driver for Tri State Rack Service, a Methodist by faith and a US Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Houston Ruckman on January 24, 2001; a daughter, Linda Jo Ruckman; a sister, Violet “Marie” Ruckman and two brothers, Clarence and Francis Bumgardner.
Surviving are his son, Mark A. Ruckman of Ohio, his daughter, Brenda S. Ruckman of Carrollton, Ohio, his sister, Delores Bardwil of King’s Mountain, North Carolina, his niece, Delores McCormick of Jacobsburg, Ohio and nephews, Doug Vaughan, Randy Bardwil, Mark Bardwil and Brian Bardwil.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Saturday from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm with Pastor Lee Iden officiating. Interment in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio with Full Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veteran’s Association.
