Ellen “Mae” Richmond

Ellen "Mae" Richmond, 91, of Moundsville, WV died Sunday, July 28, 2002 in Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, Ohio.
She was born November 11, 1910 in Howesville, WV a daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Bessie Weaver Hartman.
She was a retired employee of the former Louis Marx Toy Company, Glen Dale, and was a memeber of Calvary United Methodist Church Moundsville, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Richmond; daughter, Rita Mae Richmond; two sisters, Jessie Markly and Blanche Andrews; three brothers, Harry, John and Eugene Hartman; a grandson, John J. Bailey.
Surviving are a daughter, Catherine "Jean" Tennant and her husband James of Moundsville; two brothers, Charles and Ralph Hartman of Pittsburg, California; a grandson, Lewis E. Richmond and his wife Debbie of Glen Dale; a granddaughter, Lynell Rine and her husband Tom of Moundsville; four great grandchildren, James Kearns of Moundsville, David, Bobby and Jennifer Richmond all of Glen Dale, WV.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 1p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002 with Rev. Patricia Anderson officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundville.
