Betty lived on the other side of my family’s duplex. She was a friendly lady who was always sharing her baked goodies with me and my mom and dad.

She will always be in my childhood memories. Even when my Grandfather was still alive and lived next to her I remember riding my bike by their adjoined front porch on my way to the “DQ” seeing them sitting there on those front proch chairs.

My sincere condolences to all of her family.

Dearest Michelle and Kelly,

The apostle Paul said, “to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.” Today your Gee Gee is in the company of angels and Jesus himself. I know your hearts are aching right now, but knowing that Gee Gee is waiting for you just gives you one more reason to want to go to heaven. I love you both and I’m praying for you at this time.
