I was so saddened to hear of Liza’s passing. When my husband and I relocated from Florida to London,Ohio last year I found out we were only about 30 minutes from Liza. I wrote her a letter and asked if she wanted to get together for dinner sometime. She left a message on my answering machine, but no number. I tried information but she was not listed. I kept saying, I have to try to get in touch with Liza again, but I never took the time and I will always regret this. I went to highschool with Liza at the Mount and went out together with her frequently in our highschool days. She had a wonderful spirit and enthusiasm that touched me and though we lost touch over the years I will miss her and feel there is a empty spot in the world without her. She has been in my thoughts and prayers since learning she was ill, my prayers go out to her husband and family for their deep loss.

Good bye, Liza, you will be missed.

Liza has been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard of her illness. I wish to send my condolences to the family members and pray that God will comfort you and help you to understand why she needed to go “home” right now. I hope she and Mary Ann are having a nice reunion. Liza was a former student of mine at Wheeling Country Day School and a friend of our daughter, Martha.

Very sincerely,

Marge Sims
