Dear Henry:
I was so sorry to hear of Gay’s passing just a few moments ago. I don’t know how but I obviously missed the notice. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I have such nice memories of Gay being so very sweet to me when Jim and I moved into the neighborhood 17 years ago. At that time, she was very close to Jean Furlough my neighbor across the street and they both took me under their wing to tell me of the civic league, the pool, and Mary Kay products. Of course, I felt very special with Gay being so nice to me. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gay was a lovely friend and a dear neighbor. We remember her active participation in our Civic League on the Welcome Committee and at our Christmas parties at the school. Gay had an easy laugh, and a most pleasant personality. She will be lovingly remembered by so many of us in our neighborhood. We are so sorry for your loss, Henry and Debbie.

Henry and Debbie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you both, and with Gay.
My wife Lynn, and my daughters Lauren and Kelsey all remember seeing Gay in Williamsburg several years ago. We all wish we could have spent more time together.
With Love,

I am so sorry to learn of Gay’s passing too late to attend her service. She is one of the people who made up the “heart” of our neighborhood. She came to my surprise 40th birthday at the pool and I still treasure the placemats she made for the occasion. Carol
