Elizabeth E. Newlon Keller, 91, of Allendale Road, Mt. Olivet, where she resided with her granddaughter, Mary Ann Nolte, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in the Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, Ohio.
Elizabeth was born August 2, 1911 in Huntington, WV, a daguther of the late Audley C. and Marjorie L. Haines Newlon.
She was a retired homemaker; past president of the Elm Grove Eagles Auxiliary No. 1891; and was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Keller Sr. in 1988; a son, Jim Keller; a sister, Ruby Crumbacher.
Surviving are a son, Harvey E. Keller Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Wheeling; two daughters Eleanor "Ellie" Bradcovich and her husband, George, of Wheeling and Sandra Stephens and her husband, Donald of Wheeling; two brothers, Charles Newlon and his wife, Bernice of Moundsville and William Newlon and his wife Mickey, of Delaware; two sisters, Thelma Snodgrass of Shadyside, Ohio and Wilma Bonar and her husband Tom, of Moundsville; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 3828 Jacob Street, South Wheeling where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003 with the Rev. Linda Glass officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
