Elfia Maria Scott, 86, of Shadyside, Ohio formerly of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, February 7, 2008 in Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, Ohio.

Elfia was born October 23, 1921 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Sam and Anna DelCotto Battistone.

She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church Bellaire, a member of the DAV Post #117 Auxiliary and the American Legion Post #52 Auxiliary both of Bellaire.

Preceding her in death were her husband Charles Scott, two brothers, Londi Battistone and Terandino Battistone, a sister Maria Suchan,

Surviving are two sons, Michael Joyce Scott of Mt. Holly, NJ and Charles Devorah Scott of Monroe County, NJ; a daughter Anita Richard Berry of Shadyside, Ohio; a sister Elsie Bizzari of Bellaire; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Delmer and Carolyn Scott of Junction City, Ohio. 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441-37th Street Bellaire, Ohio Saturday from noon until the time of funeral service at 4 p.m. with Reverend Bill Marinelli officiating.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Fellowship Church.

Anita,Mike,Chuck we are very sorry to hear about your mother Elfia passing away. We sure will miss her and her sweet laugh and ways. We will miss all of our talks we had on the phone. So remember we are here if you need to talk. And if you ever need us we are here for you all. Love always,
