Elden Allen Gondira, 74, of Shadyside, Ohio died Saturday December 17, 2011 in Country Club Retirement Center Bellaire, Ohio.
Elden was born December 16, 1937 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Joseph J. Gondira and Elizabeth E. Ladyga Gondira who survives and resides in Shadyside.
He was a retired Employee of the Ormet Corporation Hannibal, OH after 32 years of service, a Methodist by Faith, and a member of American Legion Post 521 Shadyside, Ohio. He loved to fish, hunt, chop firewood and rarely went a day without working crossword puzzles.
He was an Army Veteran.
Surviving is his daughter, Diane Lynn Chris Tepen of Aurora Co, his mother, Elizabeth and his brother, Joseph Gondira both of Shadyside, twin grandchildren Wesley and Mia Tepen.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside service, Thursday December 22, 2011 at 10a.m. in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, Ohio with Reverend Donald Lawson Jr. officiating.
