Eileen B. Forrest
Virginia Beach – Eileen Barrington Forrest, 53, died December 31, 2011. Eileen was born in Washington, DC to Deloris and the late James Barrington. She had worked as an LPN and enjoyed spending time with her children. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael D. Forrest; children, Kayleigh M. Forrest and Sean M. Forrest; three brothers, one sister; a host of brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews, plus her husband’s brothers in the Southern Riders Motorcycle Club. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children www.saintmaryshome.org. I remember when we first moved into the neighborhood, Eileen was the first to visit. She had a warm heart and friendly, loving smile. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mike, I am here for you 24/7. You and your children are in my prayers. Having just lost my husband I have learned to let go and turn it over to God. That is the only real place of peace. Eileen was a very sweet, wonderful person and a great friend. We had lots of good times together and I enjoyed the comfort of your friendship. I will miss celebrating my birthday with you. I think the last 3 birthdays we were together. I am so happy you were able to be with me at my Birthday party at Mannino’s Italian Restaurant. I have a great picture of us from that evening that I will always cherish. You were a kind-hearted soul and you will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace my Friend, Rest in Peace. Love, Lori
Eileen’s mother, Dolores P. Barrington, sister Nora Barrington Waters,brothers Michael Barrington, Frank Barrington, and Edward Barrington mourn the loss of our dear daughter and sister-may she rest in peace.With our husband and father, James F. Barrington, since deceased,we all spent decades of a wonderful family life in Wheaton before God spread us all around. The memories of those years are what link us together through all life’s joys and trials, even in death. God bless all the members of the Barrington and Forrest families as they cope with their loss, especially Kayleigh and Sean.
I was so saddened to hear the news. Eileen and the entire family are in my prayers and thoughts. She will be very missed and it was a joy knowing and working with her.
