Sylvia, So sad to receive word about Ron. He was such a wonderful man and you two were the perfect couple. I so enjoyed our visits in recent years. Our conversations were always like a shaft of light, encouraging, and so transforming. Ron also fostered our getting together and I am grateful for that. We have quite a long association from our childhood days … the early rhythms of our lives. I will always remember visiting you two this Spring. A great day as usual with lots of good conversation. Ron was very gifted and nurturing. So, intelligent, and sensible. I really valued listening to his reflections on life. He had quite an impact as he shared his sentiments. He was transforming to those around him. I also loved hearing him talk about his little Rose. I believe he instilled a heart-level love for Rose. Next to you, she was the focus point of his life. He really seemed to experience a new vitality and oneness with her, and taught her priceless lessons and guidance for life. They both walked the same path and understood each other. A great blessing she has been in your lives. From observng them, I really feel he gave her the most important God-parenting a child could ever have. She is such a straight forward little girl, full of animation and life. A bundle of joy, and you all enhanced one another’s lives! What a gift from God you all have been for one another. You will continue to be such an influence in her life. I admire your strength and always have. You and Ron were so much alike in your caring and compassion. Your resilience and attitude to carry on in any situation is such an important example to others. I regret so much not being in town and being there for Ron’s services. I look so forward to our getting together soon. Our love and prayers for you and with Ron at this time of his passing as he is released into the arms of God.
