Dear Lillian,

I am crying thinking of the sadness of you missing your mom on this earth. I thank the Lord you will see her once again in heaven but I know it doesn’t erase the pain of living here and now without her. Having lost both my parents and my dear sister I want to let you know how much I care at this very difficult time!!! Your mom must have been an incredibly loving and kind woman as I am sure you take after her. We are so blessed by your care of all the children at Swift Creek Baptist Church and thank your mom for raising you to be such a special person!!!!!!!!!! I know it may seem a bit flat, coming over the computer like this, but please accept a huge hug from me! Love, Beth Hollowell

Edna was one of the nicest people I have ever know, always so kind and caring for others. We will all miss her beautiful smile. It’s hard to beleive that she won’t be there bowling with us this morning–one never knows. Floyd, & family, our thought and prayers are with you. So sorry!

Floyd, Dana, Lill, Linda, David and all the family,

I was so saddened to learn of Edna’s sudden illness and passing. I have so many fond memories of her. From first getting to know her as my Great Aunt Lill’s daughter and my dad’s cousin when she came to visit her mom in Amherst,MA to getting to know her on a more personal level over the years during several visits to Virginia. I really enjoyed the video tribute; thank you for sharing those photos. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love Jennifer

I just wanted to express my sympathy to Mrs. Parisher’s family during this difficult time. My own grandparents died when I was young, but she always treated me as if I was part of her family every time I visited her house with Heather. Please know that I am praying for you.

Lillian,

I was so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful person. I often think about my church family growing up at Kempsville and how important they were to me. You and your family were certainly a big part of that. I realize these are difficult times, but I know you have your faith, family, and friends to lean on. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
